The Principality of Zeon is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zeon Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable leads a raid on the space colony Side 7. There, he discovers the Earth Federation’s abandoned new weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam. He then decides to steal it for himself, creating a domino effect that changes history as we know it forever. Five years later, on the independent colony of Side 6, a young Newtype finds herself on the hunt for the missing Gundam RX-78-2. It’s not long until events conspire to have her sit in the pilot’s seat of the new prototype Gundam GQuuuuuuX and take part in an underground mobile suit fighting competition. Surrounded by new friends, she attempts to understand her strange powers and find her place in the world, dreaming of a sky where she can fly freely.
